NCGE/Kauffman Scholarship
Simon Phelps was selected by the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship (NCGE) and the US-based Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to be part of its new Entrepreneurship Fellows Scheme. Only 16 individuals have been chosen from the UK, all with the promising high-impact business ideas. The NCGE-Kauffman Entrepreneurship Fellows programme, highlighted in Brown's budget speech, has been funded to help Britain's future business hopefuls develop their entrepreneurial skills and ideas for starting a business by spending six months in the United States with some of America's most innovative entrepreneurial thinkers, experts and small business leaders.
